The first stage in creating Alexis' economic tables is the source location of raw goods and industrial produce. These goods and produce are termed "commodities." The source for these goods originates from the 1952 publication of the Collier's Encyclopedias, and are measured in 'references.' Each time a specific good is connected with a specific location in the encyclopedia, one reference is tallied for that good and for that location.
